Akadeum’s Mouse RBC Depletion Microbubbles are designed to clean up samples such as spleen or other lymphoid tissue preparations with RBC contamination. These microbubbles target Ter119 markers for highly-specific binding with erythrocytes. Upon engaging the undesired RBCs, Akadeum’s microbubbles gently float these cells to the top of the sample for easy removal, leaving the untouched cells of interest happy, healthy, and ready for downstream use.
Our microbubbles are mixed into your sample where they grab onto the contaminating RBCs. Using the power of gravity (they float!), the microbubbles lift the RBCs to the top of the sample container for removal. It’s really that simple! Your target cells remain untouched and ready for downstream use.
