Jake Isaacs, PhD

National Sales Manager

Leveraging a diverse scientific background, Jake has focused his career on being a high-performing sales representative and manager in the area of capital laboratory equipment for life science research, development, and manufacturing. He obtained a BS in chemistry from Georgia Tech, a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Kentucky studying damaged DNA structure, and was a postdoctoral fellow in immunology at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center studying iNKT cells.

Jake’s experience at both the bench and in commercial roles spans startups with a handful of people to large global corporations. He has supported a broad range of applications and technologies including biosensors, flow cytometers, microplate imagers, single-cell dispensers, osmometers, and cell culture automation platforms prior to joining Akadeum to help launch the Alerion platform for cell therapy development and manufacturing.
