Dr. Brian Bauereis is a trained-neuroscientist with an extensive background in stem cell biology, neurodegenerative diseases, and cell-replacement therapies. After receiving his PhD in Texas he was accepted as a postdoctoral associate at Yale School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, where he successfully developed and characterized a cell-replacement therapy for Parkinson’s disease. After starting a family he decided to venture outside of academia and entered the biotech industry as a field scientist. After many successful years with several biotechs, Brian joined the Akadeum team as the Technical Sales Manager, responsible for managing all of Akadeum’s technical sales processes from lead generation to closure for all US accounts. He also loves donning his lab coat to act as a scientific solutions consultant for any of the US accounts at Akadeum. Brian obtained his PhD in Molecular Neuroscience from the Universities of Texas at San Antonio and the Medical School, in 2010. Brian then completed a 4 year post-doctoral fellowship at Yale School of Medicine.
